Description
Started brewing in 2007 after acquiring the pub, and 8-barrel brew plant and based in the cellar, which was previously used by Porter Brewing Co at the same location since 1994. Initially, the beers were badged as Pennine Ales and may still be seen under that name sometimes.

Cask, gravity at Banbury Beer Festival 06-05-10 Pours amber, quite hazy, I was expecting a much paler looking beer with a name like White Owl. Quite citric in the mouth with lemon showing frequently, quite pithy on roof of mouth with bitterness, not bad at all. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov13 3.3
