650mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast and roasted malt upfront, with a little cocoa powder. Flavour brings out cocoa powder upfront, combined with Belgian yeast, which makes it very light on the palate despite the 8.5%. Quite complex and easy to drink. Wonderful flavour profile, with a skilled marriage of imperial stout and Belgian yeast. Excellent.

22 ounce bottle into chalice, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of apricot, apple, pear, banana, grape, honey, candi sugar, bubblegum, clove, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy esters with a good amount of malt presence. Taste of apple, pear, apricot, banana, grape, honey, candi sugar, bubblegum, clove, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, banana, honey, candi sugar, bubblegum, clove, and earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of fruity/spicy ester flavors; with a good amount of malt balance and no cloying sweetness after the finish. A little too malty for my preferences, but it is still quite balanced. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a creamy and slick mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Tripel style. Very nice balance and complexity of fruity/spicy esters with moderate malt balance; and quite smooth to sip on for the ABV level. A very enjoyable offering.

light golden amber color. Massive tropical fruits, like a massive pineapple being sliced in front of your nose. Very light body, moderately aggressive hoppiness, very little malt backbone. Tropical fruit just persists through out very ingesting but you need to love tropical fruit to love this beer.

Light brown color. Huge estery clovey nose with a bit of chocolate. Light body, but way too estery/yeasty. Lingering chocolate and clove finish. The yeast just dominates and controls this beer, putting it into unpleasant territory.
