Cask pour pint at Special Brews. Pours a copper color with a ton of foam head and lace. Very mild hops aroma. Medium body with some grassy hops, and minimum bitterness. For whatever reason, this was an average IPA for me. Nothing special, but not bad either. I’ll try again on a regular tap and rerate.

On cask at Washington Brewers Cask Festival, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out lactose, cocoa and candied sugar. Flavour is well-constructed, between lactose and cocoa. Not too sweet at all, with everything in good harmony. Very nice.

[3/2/15] Draught at Big Time Brewery in Seattle. Love the name! Clear copper. Aroma of resinous hops, a bit “green”, some slightly caramelly malt and an alcoholic note. Flavor with sweet caramelly malt, resinous hops, piney and citric, and a bitter finish with a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied, a bit oily.

[3/2/15] Draught at Big Time Brewery in Seattle. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, some fruitiness. Sweet flavor, malty, caramelly, with some cookies, some fruitiness and a slightly bitterish finish with a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied, oily mouthfeel. Kinda boozy.
