Pig’s Ear. Clear amber beer, tiny white head. Smooth palate, low carbonation. Very light dryness. Clean fresh light malt. Nice fresh mild hops - tangerine, orange and a little mango. Semi dry finish. Decent bitter.

Cask (gravity) @ 28th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2011, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Weighbridge Best Bitter ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy to fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, sweet malt - hop. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to short duration, fruity - malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111209]

Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, toasted, fresh malt, moderate to light heavy hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, lemon. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111209]

Cask-conditioned at the Weighbridge Brewhouse, Swindon 27/10/2011. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Tropical fruit aroma with a hint of pine resin. Flavour began with a touch of creamy malts before more tropical, prickly fruit and a lingering dry finish. Enjoyable.
