Vom Faß im Brauhaus Zum Löwen am Kornmarkt, Mühlhausen. - Tiefes Goldrotbraun; rasch zerfallender beigefarbener Schaum. - In der Nase Karamel, Nuß und pikante Säure. - Antrunk schön dunkelmalzig-nussig mit Karamelsüße und kräftigen Röstaromen. Anklänge von Mokka und Bitterorange. Gut rezent; schlank, etwas dünn im Mund. Im Abgang leicht fruchtige, etwas schroffe Hopfenbittere. Unharmonisch herber Nachtrunk mit schroffen, grünen Noten. - Für ein Gasthausbrauereien-Dunkles gar nicht schlecht, aber die unreifen Noten im Nachtrunk machen eine Abwertung unvermeidlich.

Cloudy blond color with compact head. The aroma is delicate, spicy and a bit fruity. Dry and smooth mouthfeel, some wheat flavor, a bit of bubblegum, ordinary bitterness, with a touch of fruits in the end.

Hazy brown color with compact head. The aroma is stale, I wonder if it’s the first glass of the day. Smooth mouthfeel, soft roasted malt flavor, quite dry, with some ashes, and light sourness; ordinary bitterness.

Bright orange-red color with pink-red compact head. Candy fruit aroma. Semi-sweet flavor, a bit fruity, but well balanced with the beer. Refreshing although maybe artificial; a valid alternative to Radlers.

1l-bottle bought at the brewery. Beer in the glass light red, nice head. Fine fruity berry aroma. Starts intense fruity, but not as sweet as exspected. Fine berry notes, wonderful complex. Finish milder, a bit less fruity, nice malty notes with a dry background. Nice summer beer!

1l bottle bought at the brewery as Helles, 4,9% ABV. Beer in the glass not very zippy, almost no head. Starts mild, very malty, modest sweet. More and more wheaty. Finish mild and boring. Really nothing special.
