Bottle shared in London - huge thanks to Daniel. Harvest 2008. Pours totally clear, honey gold, with a few bubbles. Big apple juice aroma, ripe apples, slight peel. Big sweet flavor, lightly oily, lots of ripe apple, Macintosh perhaps, some honey. Medium bodied, softly chewy. Warming finish with gooey, ripe apples, more honey, some caramel. Glorious stuff. Very drinkable.

Bottle big thanks to Daniel. It pours clear oily orange. The nose is soft, juicy, oily, apple pie, sweet apple, pear, light cinnamon and honey. The taste is rich, slick, oily, sweet juicy apple, apple pie, toasty sugars, oily, pear, honey and very light alcohol with a rich, oily finish. Medium-full body and rich, oily mouth-feel. Well rounded and quaffable.

Bottle: Poured a light clear yellow color perry. Aroma of medium sweet pear notes with well balanced sweetness level. Very refreshing drinks with limited complexity and not overly sweet or syrup tasting.

Had this on tap, but then I was eating a galette. Pale colour. The aroma has a lot of fresh apple. Fairly soft, petillant, with a gentle fresh apple taste. Refreshing but not especially characterful.

Amber color. Wonderful aroma, apples, apple skins, apple pie, but with a nice freshness, and citrusy touch. Sweet flavor, with a tartness that reminds apricots, some stewed apples, quite high acidity. Aggressive, yet lovely.
Appreciated, probably most for its power than its elegance. Wonderful.
