341 ml bottle. Pours a yellow/gold with no head. Aromas of dried apples. Flavour of watery apple juice. Not much there but not offensive either. A high ABV sessionable cider.

341 ml bottle. Pours a copper clear copper color with no head. Aromas of wood and baked apples with a little spice. Flavors of green oak barrels, tart unripe apples, and light resin. Slightly warm but does not give away the 11%. Great stuff.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Golden color, with basically no head. Nice apple aroma, dry, a bit flowery, very light vinegar. The mouthfeel is very dry; it has a strong acidity, unfortunately with acetone as well; the final is very dry, and expectedly astringent.
I like ciders full of tannins, but acetone and astringency don’t work out well, and the acidity is a bit too high.

Sampled at Merridale. Flowery nose. Dark golden. Mellow chewy mouthfeel, not particularly sparkly. Dry sweet dry apple base, light floral notes. Feels substantial.

Fresh from tap at Merridale. Clear yellow green. Acidic, slightly vinegary nose. Sparkly and light on the palate. Straw after a rich flowery, grassy and light wooden note, nice balance of acid to sweetness. Wonderful drink.

Vintage 2006, red label. Cloudy white yellow, very sparkly. Champagne dry, light floral apple and citrus. Very nice subtle dry flavors, definitely comparable with a good champagne. Super nice.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy copper with a tiny ring of white head. Aroma of monolithic dry apples - not much else. Flavour of extremely dry apples, dryness and more dryness - sort of leaves a sugar residue feel on the teeth, though I'm not sure if this is simply due to the dryness. ABV is concealed very well. Decent.

A small sample from a 1L bottle, pours a murky golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of dry apples, pears and some paint thinner. Flavour is very dry, with nothing but the apples and pears showing themselves. Very simple and a bit boring.

Sampled on tap at the Alibi Room, pours a still clear yellow. Aroma of dry apples with a slight hints of tartness, no sugar. Flavour is pure green apples with a nice dry mouthfeel and only a hint of sweetness. Really well-balanced. Great cider.
