Cold.
Red color, like clear strawberry and berry juice. Actually mixing the cherry syrup with the spices doesn’t work out very well, resulting in a rather soapy aroma. The flavor as well is unimpressive, where the honey doesn’t appear, instead it’s just like a sweet cherry juice with spices, and with a feeling of alcohol; the body is quite lean, and the final is a bit tannic. Uninteresting.

Blond color. Honey aroma, cheap. The flavor, very sweet, of honey, is quite pleasant, if not complex, balanced, without the flaws of many German meads.

Light blond color. Strong aroma of cheap millefiori honey. Sweet, sugary, with flavor of the same cheap honey; no complexity at all, even if there is some light bitterness at the end. Nothing special, just a sweet drink.

Honigwein with 15% cherry juice from concentrate!
Ruby red color. Very light aroma of berries and candies. A bit sweet, not too much, with very light cherry syrup flavor. I had many mead that are not very nice, this one is not even nice to drink.

75 cL clear bottle. Pours clear and golden red with a small pink head. Aroma is honey and cherry. Fruity and dry cherry to almondish flavoured. Mild citric and almondish finish. Slight phenolic into the far finish.

Bottled. A red mead. The aroma has notes of honey, cherries, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, cherries, and honey, leading to a dry finsih. Thanks to the Wine-HATER for sharing.
