16oz Bottle pours out a deep dark mahogany brown witha full and lasting creamy yellowish tan head. Earthy woody aroma of sweet dark malts and a little touch of chemical cleaner. Flavor is woody and dusty and a definite touch of ashtray. As I continue to sip it, the dusty wet ashtray is setting in a bit more. I so wanted to like this one.

16oz bottle. Orange-tan, with a slight haze. Thin off-white head lines the top of the glass. A pretty solid English Pale Ale, there are some English fining or yeast notes that come through. It doesn’t come across as World Class stuff by any means, but it is a well done beer in it’s own right. Easy and drinkable, middle of the road. Toasty malt tones and steady hops. Pretty good.

16oz bottle. Red-brown color, thin white head. Pleasant cherry aroma, Cherry wheat continues to be synonymous with crap, as this beer further attests. It isn’t horrible by any means, it just fails. On the thicker side of light bodied, lots of sticky artificial cherry action. Not tart at all, just oddly sweet. Grainy cherry juice extract. I can deal with it, but this is not a beer to be proud of. Non-tickers avoid.

16 ounce bottle courtesy of Mr. Pickles. Thanks! 5/12/10. Pours a very dark brown color with a thin head. Good head retention and lacing. A nice dry aroma with notes of coffee, roast and light caramel. The taste is bitter fresh coffee with a bit of a sweet note, bitter roasted malts and bitter hops. Very dry, very bitter, but still good. Medium bodied, smooth and creamy. Nice beer.

16oz bottle. Ruby red-brown color, deep and approaching opaque. Fluffy beige head, pretty stable. Sweet sugary pine aroma, not unlike a lot of more pronounced Rye beers. Rich and sticky, with some sugary maple tones. Mellow medium body despite the sugary richness, soft carbonation. Borderline coffee notes at times. Not really that impressive at all, but probably a great marinade. Hop crispness overshadowed by the sticky malts.

Bottle. Hazy medium amber body with a rapidly diminishing off-white head. Sweet aroma of cotton candy, caramel, biscuit and not much else. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter with a hint of tartness. The finish is lightly sweet and lightly to moderately tart with a touch of bitterness. Slight taste of medicine and canned corn. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Promising beginning erodes into an unclean, tart, almost sour, jumble of flavors.

Draft in Milwaukee. Opaque black with a thin tan head. Smooth nitro mouthfeel with a decided coffee edge. A touch watery, as per the style I suppose. Good stuff, albeit rather middle-of-the-road. Chocolate milkshake finish.

Draft in Milwaukee. Dark brown-amber color. Thick malty sweet taste. Solid chocolate malt nuances. Deep and rich. Smooth and lagered out, nice mouthfeel. Lingering toffee aftertaste. Good stuff.

Draft in Milwaukee. Hard to tell in the lounge lit room, but looks to be a filtered red-brown color. Big raspberry aroma. A little too juicy, but still refreshing and enjoyable. One dimensional.
