Description
Lionel gave birth to Alphand beer from his double passion for the mountains and for beer. Located in Vallouise, in the heart of the Hautes Alpes, in a high mountain setting at the foot of the Massif de Ecrins, the Alphand Brewery benefits from water of optimal quality and purity. It offers everyone the opportunity to share quality, authentic and healthy beer.
Everyone who works today to create this original, unmistakably tasting beer brewed with native spring water wants to perpetuate the pioneering spirit of the early mountaineers. Thus the Alphand Brewery, keen to minimize the impact of its production on the magnificent sites of the Alps, uses as a priority recyclable or biodegradable materials.

75cl bottle @ Niamey Carft Beer tasting - farewell party to Balasz. Merci Balasz. BB 25/7/2019. Reste correcte.

13/11/2015 @home - 75cl bottle I got from my boss, 10 years old. Hazy dark brown, blackish with nice light tanned head. First smell from the bottle was definetly old smell, from the glass light roast, coffee, thin. Taste is light roast & coffee but thin. not lasting. But anyway for a beer from 5° this old it still tased very good, just the beer as such isn’t that great I think.

Bottled. Pours a clear amber color with a large fizzy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral and herbal notes with pale malts. The taste is sweet malts caramel and faint herbal notes. Medium bodied. Never would have guess this was a witbier, but it was definitely the blanche we opened.
