Description
Launched in 2012 by by Thomas Vogel, Dave Mobley, and brewmaster Troy Smith, Belching Beaver Brewery evolved from a desire to make great beer and have a ‘Dam Good Time’ doing it. The award-winning craft beer company is focused on two things: First, have a brand that offers quality craft beer, while also being whimsical and fun to inspire good times. Each Belching Beaver beer release carries its own individual style and personality. Second, make beer for everyone and all palates. Our San Diego Brewery hosts 5 different locations serving craft beer you're going to love, of which the Oceanside Brewhouse is the production brewery.

Opaque dark brown beer, tiny tan head. Milky peanut butter nose. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Taste largely follows the nose. Milky dark malts and tangy peanut butter. Undertone of mildly tangy fruits. Light semi dry finish. Fun beer!

650ml bottle. Darkest brown colour, deep red glimmer, huge, late awakening, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Dark malty aroma is slightly roasty, chocolately, hints of coffee, some malt spiciness. Taste is minimally to moderately sweet dark malty, chocolately, slightly roasty, hints of coffee with a grainy touch, also some coffee-surrogate chicory spiciness, cautious remants of lactose; slightly sticky palate. Well balanced, not too sweet, really nice.

Bomber from Best Damn Beer Shop. Pours hazy orange gold with a transient white head. Aroma is floral, lightly bready, with maybe a touch of honey. Med body or so. Flavor is sweet, floral, arguably honey, and a light spice. Sort of like a honeyed Belgian wit? Or? It is drinkable. Definitely not as meh as some honey brews.

Bomber from Best Damn Beer Shop. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan head. Aroma is mostly cacao. Maybe some cinnamon. A little almond? Med body or better. Flavor is somewhat bitter dark/burnt malt with cinnamon, chocolate and some things hard to pin down. It’s just a bit sweet for an IS.
