Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice crystal clear deep gold body that supports a full tan head of foam. The modest aroma is smooth with citrus and spicy hops that have a sweet onion sensation. The taste is also smooth and rich and delivers pleasing citrus hops like tangelo and a little bit of grapefruit as well as a nice spicy resiny onion hoppiness that’s mixing quite well with other notes and the smooth body. Yummy IPA that has a pretty high degree of drinkability.

Bomber from Best Damn Beer Shoppe. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight tan head. Aroma of dark malt and pumpkin AND pie spice. Usually don’t get pumpkin! Med + body. Flavor has smoke, pie spice, pie crust!, a slightly peppery burn. This is really different stuff, and it’s really good. Lots of strong flavors. Seems to develop a little coffee in the finish. Way many things going on in this.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Dark brown color with a medium khaki head that recedes steadily. Partial ring of lacing. Aroma of chocolate, malt and peanut butter. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, mild coffee and subtle peanut butter. The finish is sweet with a chocolatey aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
