Rocky white head stayed on a slowly carbonating white wine coloured body. Light malt, citrus & pine aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a sharp back. Citrus, confectionery, bitter & very subtle tastes with long tangy finish. What an excellent brewed beer

16oz can. Pretty much nails it for a West Coast Pale Ale...or any kind of APA for that matter. Hoppy, bitter, has some bite. Crackery malt tones have a little more depth than typical. Great balance. Great beer.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours bright, clear gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is very citrus with some zest. Med body. Flavor is very citrus with lemon zest. Quite dry. Marvelously, but not harshly, bitter. Very light roast malt support. Tasty.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours slightly hazy golden - amber with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is sticky grapefruit, tangy, piney, resin, bready, dull toffee, peppery spice and as it warms a monkey nut character.... The taste is firmly dry, bitter, resinous, pine needles, sticky west coast green vibes, sticky, oily, nutty edge, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, pomelo and a touch of alcohol with a drying, zesty finish. Medium body and average carbonation. The monkey nut vibe is a bit off-putting to the overall experience. It's fine, but underwhelming.

Pint can from Festival Northland, 5/7/21. Hazy orange, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of tangerine, vanilla. Taste is tangerine, tropical fruit, pale malt. Juicy, delicate, well balanced. Nice. Rating as many different states in a row as I can without repeats. Starting on 5/4: IL, CT, NY, VA, TN, IA, MN, AZ, OH, FL, NM, MI, TX, CO, and now CA. That's 284 electoral votes. I WIN!

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is earthy/tropical. Med body. Flavor is earthy, white berry, citrus/orange and green melon. Somewhat towards dry. Definitely bitter. Crisp it is. Tropical bitterness rules the mouth. Tasty indeed.

Thuis uit een blikje. Zwarte kleur, bruin schuim. Chocolade, zoet, in het aroma. Volle romige smaak, ook weer chocolade en wat koffie. Goed doordrinkbaar, niet teveel alcohol. Prima.
