The first thing you’ll notice is the bright, citrusy aromas coming off of this generously dry-hopped pale ale. There’s a ton of lemon peel and grapefruit aromas, along with a generous pineapple note. The flavors blend the citrus notes with some light pine to give a more nuanced and complex tableau that isn’t found in a lot of pale ales. The finish is nice, light, and refreshing. Hands down, one of the best thirst quenching and yet flavorful beers we’ve ever brewed for you all. Don’t resist your curiosity and pick up this amazing Deftones collaboration!

Crisp, ever so slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a nice three to four centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a while. Aroma of light grass, hay, flowers and a dash of wheat, with some light lemon and pine scents picked up from the hops, but not much of those, either. Light to Medium-bodied; Fairly grassy and biscuity malt shows through everything, with a good kick of flowers right away and a small, but noticeable, yeast and breadiness, but the hops and related bitterness do eventually come out in the end with some light alpha acid notes from the piney hops. Aftertaste shows a good balance of malt and hops, both on the softer side of things, but some dry notes, a little bit of sweetness from toffee and caster sugar, but the yeast and breadiness hits a bit harder at the end, as well. Overall, a pretty nice, but relatively understated and mild beer with some hop notes, but nothing on par with Phantom Bride, but of course great to have as a longtime Deftones fan (who wouldn't be) and one who loves beer, too! I sampled this sixteen ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in San Francisco, California (Fisherman's Wharf) on 03-April-2021 for US$2,50 in North Beach, sampled all the way on the other side of the country on 25-December-2021, Christmas Day 2021, with my family here in Washington.

475ml blik van Van Erp Groningen. Troebel goudgeel bier, witte kraag. Citrus, wat perzik, verbena, zacht fruitig en citrusvruchten, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Zeer smaakvol en doordrinkbaar. En Ohms is een topplaat.

473 ml can. Pours a pale amber with light head that settles quickly. Aromas of grass, resin, sweat and dry malts. Flavors of metallic toasted malts, grain and tea. Seems way over rated. Definitely more of a pils but not a good one

Can picked up from Beyond Beer Webshop Hamburg and consumed at home, Thursday 3rd June 2021 sat outside after a nice cycle ride, listening to Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg. Pours urine gold with a white head. Nice softness in the mouth, refreshing, very easy going, light fruity and hoppy. Simplicity is the key here, super simple, but really good. Crispness, refreshing, super glugable, grapefruit, lemony, a little resinous but subtle with all of this, super, super nice.
