Launched in 2012 by by Thomas Vogel, Dave Mobley, and brewmaster Troy Smith, Belching Beaver Brewery evolved from a desire to make great beer and have a ‘Dam Good Time’ doing it. Can at Bierbarry. Bit hazy light golden with white head. Soft light malts and a touch of wheat, light pineapple, soft grassy, light guava, dank juicy and funky hops. Medium sweet and bitter. Bit over medium bodied.

Can at Bierbarry. With Deftones since Adrenaline, so this is a fun find in a local bar. Sweet malts, floral and tropical fruity, soft vanilla. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Bonus points.

The Aromas are fairly subdued but straw, fruit and pale malt without much hop. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose. With mango and pineapple coming on strong. Mildly sweet tart, low bitter but again not much hop. Okay, body, Carbonation and finish.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours very light pink with a head that might be white with a pink tinge. Aroma of apples, light tartness and a salt note. Med body. Flavor is a nice mix of apples, sugar and salt. Not really sweet tho, but not a trace of bitter. Very light salt. Good flavor. Sessionable?

Really nice peanut butter and milk chocolate on the nose, nice beige foam on a dark brownish black body. Flavour is full peanut butter with chocolate hints. A little thin mouthfeel for a beer like this but otherwise very tasty.

12oz bottle c/o Anndiesel. Pretty solid example of a peanut butter Stout. Doesn't go overboard with the peanut butter, relatively well balanced, still holds on to some pleasant Milk Stout characteristics as opposed to pastry mess. Coffee, chocolate, caramel, peanuts. Well executed.

Can from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma of passion fruit, mango and passion fruit or pineapple, or maybe both. Med body plus a bit. Flavor is juicy with some passion fruit spice/tang - or maybe that's pineapple acidity. Or both. Pale malt support - tho mostly obscured by all the hop. Rather mouth smacking. There's another flavor hovering over everything that reminds me of Graham flour. Whatever, it has a flavor impact I like.

Bomber. Aroma is chocolate milk, peanut butter. Pours a very dark brown to black with a one finger tan head with excellent retention and some lace. Taste is highly sweet with chocolaty and peanut butter flavors. Cinnamon is there but a little faint. Near cloying here, but it does taste good. Perfect creamy mouthfeel. Nice flavors, but it's going to be a little hard to finish a whole bomber. Best shared.

16 oz. Aroma is lime, SweeTarts, corn. Pours nearly clear golden with a one finger off-white head with decent retention. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly tart, lightly bitter, very dry, with flavors of corn and lime. Really tasty.
