Lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes peaches, stone fruits, bit citric, stone fruits, bit jammy. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of peaches, jam and more stone fruits. Lovely, great balance, super fruit forward

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Rural and stable funk, fruity, wood, wet straw. Taste: Fruity (mix of citrus, some green apple, some grape and gooseberry), quite a lot of rural and stable-like funk and oak wood, some wet straw and old hop. Recognizable fuller in taste than the standard Geuze, because of the 5-year old Lambic. Very nice.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, thin white head. Aroma: Gooseberry, fruity tartness. Some funk and herbal hints. Taste: Over moderate tartness, fruity gooseberry, some lemon, rural funk, oak wood and herbal (anise, fennel) hints. Nice subtle complexity, mostly recognizable towards and at the finish.

Small if persistent white head over lively carbonated amberish golden beer. Sulphur, farmyard, horseblanket, yellow/green stonefruit, gooseberry, horsestable. Sharpish, lactic acid, again stonefruit, partly unripe. Again some sulphur, some vegetable as raw celeri. Lipsmacking acidity, acidburn, acidthinning, yet a certain roundness, slick, wheat. Severe but very good oude gueuze. Might mellow out with some more aging. Txs to Stef!

Pours hazy, deep golden with a small head. Earthy aroma with notes of rhubarbs, nettles and old damp basements. Flavour is sour winter apples, rhubarbs and nettles.

Aroma: a lot of funk with sulphur notes, fruity.
Taste: along the same lines, very funky, noticeable sulphur and 3F minerals. Low to moderately acidic.
Overall: very nice.

Bottle split with the missus at da Droom. Mostly clear dark ruby red. Pale pink foam. Looks good. Lots of fruit and nicely vinous but the acidity here made it hard work.
