12 ounce can from Tavour. Amber, reddish pour. Large, rocky beige head. Spotty lacing. Biscuity, toasted malt aroma has earthy notes. First sip is rich with notes of toasted malt, toffee and toasted nuts. The Liberty hops add a spicy, floral note in the finish. A tasty interpretation of the style, this is easy drinking with excellent flavor, start to finish.

16 oz can picked up at Kroger. 4 pack, for under 12 bucks, so Silver City remains one of the lesser expensive, quality options in the supermarkets. Cloudy golden pour, patchy head that lasts. Unique IPA with lots of tropical and melon fruit throughout. Quite juicy and flavorful. Very tasty.

Hazy yellow pour, with a large white head. Aroma is biscuity malts, citrus zest and light stone fruit. Good mouth feel, and carb. Medium butter a touch musty, some wet paper and minerals.

Slightly hazy copper, with a small off white head. Bready, pine hops, light caramel. Solid mouth feel, creamy carb. Low bitterness, pine and spruce finish with some caramel. Basic, but tasty.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has a musty, floral hop character, with a soft bready malt underside. Flavour has a nice dank, floral hop character, bitter pine, and just enough bready malt. Piney, floral, bitter finish. Very good.

Growler pour from Silver City. Weekly growler night. Thanks, W! Second strong marzen of the evening, though this one clearly deserves the imperial tag. Clean copper pour, thin head. Strong nose, intense caramel malts. Flavorful, big lager. Some underlying toffee and spicy grains. Boozy finish. Borderline malt liquor feel to this. Unique and intense. Not bad.
