22 oz bottle. Mystery Advent beer #5 from Tavour. Aroma is bread crust, cantaloupe, vanilla. Pours hazy amber with a thick long-standing beige head. Taste is candy sweet, finishing a bit dry. Flavors of bread, cola, caramel. Not bad.

Expected less, but get some great thick Christmas booze notes without the boozy overdose, just the barleywine notes. Spiced nutmeg, cinnamon apples. Day 5 of 12 days of Tavour.

22 oz bottle poured. Picked up a couple days ago, in what appears to be a late bloomer in the fresh/wet hop season. Awesome! I wasn't done with them yet anyway. Cloudy, darker orange pour. Rocky foam head and lacing. A pretty balanced aroma of caramel malts and citrus bite. A pretty sharp hop bitter front, a grab bag of hops for sure, with a wide variety of grassy, earthy, and citrus fruit notes. A really good IPA. Refreshing hop bomb. Very good.

Light brown, with a little bit of haze and just a tiny bit of head. This is actually quite smoky on the nose, still with a bit of bourbon - but it's peat smoke from the base beer. This has a nice sweet, soft malt, with a mellow smoke note, rounded by a mellow bourbon accent that lends just a touch of vanilla.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with smoky whiskey barrels, with toasted caramel and a sort of Islay scotch barrel. Flavour is loaded with peaty smoked malt, whiskey barrels, and bready caramel malt. Smoky, bourbony and woody. This is excellent.

500ml bottle at Erik's. Pours a bit hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma is a bit dirty sweet peaches. Taste is pretty similar with with moderate to high level acidity. Not bad.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very musty, with lots of armpits, fuzzy peaches, and a touch of oak. Flavour tastes like sweet fuzzy peaches, with a touch of oak, and light acidity. A bit of musty BO, but it's mostly fuzzy, acidic peaches. Good stuff.
