Enormous thanks to luttonm for bringing this to us from South Sudan... you rock Matt! This poured a light golden body with a small white head. Light grainy nose, not much more (and the notes are illegible): The taste is grainy again, light, with some vague hop, slightly tangy, actually far more drinkable than it should be despite a complete absence of a finish. Ok overall, which is far better than I thought it would be.

0.5 l bottle huge thanks to luttonm for giving it away! It poured pale yellow body with medium sized head. Moderately malty, hay, somewhat corny and lemony aroma. Flavor was lightly sweet, rice and corn seemed evident, grainy as well with lot of hay. Thinner in body with shorter finish. Loads of corn again. Drinkable and in all of its wateriness, actually, not so bad for a country where alcohol was banned for the last 40 years. +1 for the cause.

ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Thanks to Per for this rare beer! Clear pale gold beer, big white head. Light dry palate. Sweet floral pale malt. Trace of citrus. Dry finish. Ha! Actually not that bad - a sweetish floral lager!

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso [ oh6gdx birthday bash tasting ]. [ As my country rating # 125 on ratebeer ]. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, cereal, vegetable, cooked corn. Flavour is light moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20111203]

Bottled@my birthdaybash@Chriso. Thanks to Per for bringing this gem for my birthday! Pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts,maize, some grains and mild hoppy bitterness. Flavour is grains, mild hops, malts and some maizelike notes.

Bottled, thanks Bierkrug! Clear golden, small head. Bready malt aroma. Mid sweet with light body. Slightlyfruity with low hop rate. Low bitterness. A clean tasting lager without off flavours. What more can you expect? Huge thanks for this new country!

Bottle at Pat’s chriso birthday tasting. Pours crystal clear, pale yellow with a foamy, white head. Grain and cereal in the nose. Light sweet flavor, some dough, cereal and biscuits. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet, basic finish, plenty of cereal. Boy, those South Sudanese are lucky!

Bottle at Chriso Patriks Bday tasting. Thanks to Per and BierKrug for this. Clear pale gold lasting white thin had. Touch of lemon on aroma. Its not great in mouth some puke. Yes dies off. Better on aroma than in mouth. Finish is pretty poor.

Bottle courtesy of bierkrug, thank you mein freund! Very pale yellow, small white edge head. Aroma of wet cardboard. Taste is watery paper by products. Unpleasant.

Bottled around 2010. Pale golden, brief head. Maize aroma. Sweet and fruity, light bodied and not very firm. Some alcohol manages to seep through the adjunct ladden flavour. Low bitterness. Pretty much what you can expect from an SABMiller product in one of the poorest corners of the world.
