Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/19/2016. Slightly hazy golden color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of yeast, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of peppery yeast, fruit and sweet malt. The finish is fruity yeast and malt. Decent overall.

GABF 2015. Sahti. Gold color with some head. Medicinal quality, a little spice, I don’t get any juniper. This was very disappointing.

Bottle 22fl.oz.Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, coffee, dusty, coconut notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a long duration, coffee tart, coconut. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111216]

Sample from 65 cl. bottle. Bottled. Clear, dark brown colour with dark red hues. Tanned head. Aroma has cocoa (-nut), roasted and spices. Taste is sweet with lightly roasted and cocoa. There is some sourness in this beer, very unusual for this type - the bottle is infected. Medium body. Finishes with "sour chocolate milk".
