Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrusy hops, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap @ brewpub. Pours black as night with a finger of creamy brown head. Light bits of sheet lacing. Nose is forward with roast and hints of chocolate. Full flavor of heavy roast, bittersweet cocoa, and espresso. The hops play a nice role here. A solid offering.

Tap @ brewpub. Pours a little darker yellow/orange than the La Grisette with a finger of creamy beige head. Nice aroma is fruity, yeast, peppery, and hints of cloves. Full flavor is a balance of lemon zest, citrus, corriander, yeast, wheat, and again hints of pepper. Really quite excellent. As far as I can remember, this is the best saison Iโ€™ve had on-tap while visiting a brewpub. Cheers!

Tap @ brewpub. Pours a light orange color with a small sandy head. Nose is mild with hints of fruit, citrus, and lightly spiced. Flavor is mild, yet full. Citrus fruit, very little yeast, and just hints of spice. Nicely done.

Tap @ brewpub. Pours a hazy light yellow color with a modest white head. Within the confines of the style with a modest nose of malty sweetness and light florals. Flavor is sweet up front, minimal florals, and finishes with some doughy and grassey notes. Ok.

Thanks to Skyview for this one. Cloudy gold color. Impressive, but unnecessary packaging that Iโ€™m sure raised the price. Coriander and wheat in the aroma. Flavor is a little sour with Belgian yeast, light spice including more coriander, and wheat. I like this.

Very intense, flavorful hops in this beer. It smells like wild prairie and flowers. Bitter hop flavor, and light malt. It isnโ€™t very balanced, and is all about the intense hops, and that is OK. One of the best IPAs I have had in a long time. Diry brown color. Thanks to Skyview for sharing.
