5 3 5 2 9Bottle at Arendsnest, Carnivale Brettanomysis ‘18. Hazy amber brown with a white head. Aroma of dough, yeast, red berries, butter and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle shared at Arendsnest. Slight hazy light amber with off white head. Lots of caramel, sweet malts, soft grass, light corn, raw cocoa. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied.

75 cl bottle @ home, 2013 (first) issue. Black color. Light brown head with short retention. Aroma is full on iodine with light roast and malt underneath. Retronasal it’s iodine, roast, light bitter. Flavor is light sweet, roasted, light bitter, hint of sourness, alcohol. Alcohol is warming, quite sharp. Medium to full bodied. iodine, roast and bitterness in the finish. Rather harsh.

Bottled@AIH53. Very deep ambery brown colour, close to black. Aroma is peat, some alcohol, liquorice, smoked wet wood and also mild salted liquorice. Flavour is laphroaig, liquorice, salted liquorice and some raisins and mild caramel maltiness.

Bottle 330ml (AIH53)
Dark brown color, steady off-white head. Strong peaty Laphroaig nose, also some caramel. Full-bodied. Heavy peat flavor with strong alcoholic (whisky) kick. Wood. Kind of tart twist in the finish. Lots of Laphroaig if you like it. For me it is a bit too straightforward.

Fonefan 100415. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Flavour is raisin, alcohol, sugar, bread, yeast, caramel, roasted malt, caramel. full body. Nice beer.
