(Bottle) Black colour with brief, frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, treacle, dark bread, orange chocolate and spices. Malty, roasted, sweetish taste with notes of black coffee, treacle, dark bread, cacao, tobacco, butterscotch, spices and a mild roasty bitterness in a slightly vinous finish. More than medium body, quite sweet. Rich and tasty. Very nice.

0,33l bottle at home during Charity Tasting. Black color, no head. Smells farmhouse, spices, honey, flowery. Bit weird smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes honey, spices, vanilla, oak. Finishes rather sweet with notes of honey, chestnuts and flower. Heavy, not totally my thing

thanks omhper! Deep honeyish golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, nectary and some toffeeish tones with mild toffee to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild nectary and a bit toffee to it. Nice bitterness in the finish.

Can at Csaka. Pours hazy, murky golden with a white head. Nose is apricot, mango, papaya, citrus zest, candied fruits and tutti frutti. Taste is sweet and hoppy, showing tropical fruits, candied apricot, candy sweetness and light citric notes. Closes with a sweet, hoppy finish, has a medium to full body and soft carbonation. Nice one.

Tap at Billie’s on Saturday. One of the big surprises of the festival, extremely clean and crips, got all the sweet maltyness and herbal hop character, simply well rounded, but to an extreme. Could’ve been just spur of the moment, but worked really well.

thanks omhper! Brown colour small off-white head. Aroma is coffee, some mild nutty and a bit rye bready tones with some slight wooden tones. Flavour is rye bready, mild toasted and some nutty tones with mild liquorice and a bit alcohol sweetness to it as well. Smooth. Nicely dry palate.

0.44l can. Aroma of mango, passion fruit, citrus and resin. Pours clear deep golden color with large soapy off-white head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts moderate sweet malty and resinous, following is herbal, ripe tropical fruity and medicinal, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Dubbel fun…
