Bottle, courtesy of Tarjei. A little gushing this one, producing a finger-thick, off-white head over an unclear golden-orange body. Lightly sourish on the nose, both milky sourness and lemony sourness. Wheat too. The flavor follows up on that, but it’s more candy-ish sweet than all sour. Medium body. Acidic and lightly bananaish finish. Guess a little infection occured. 120124

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki (shared with Mankke & co). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sour wood, caramel malts, some quite fruity notes with mild perfumed soap and a bunch of yeastyness. Flavour is bigtime yeast, some grains, mild rubbery notes, perfumed soap and mild sour wooden notes. Not really sure what beer style they are looking for to do with this, else than strong ale...

33cl bottle. Milky yellow, sediments of yeast are visible. White head that in a few seconds disspears, this is not a characteristic of wheat beers. Aroma is citrus, banana and malty. Flavour is citrus, bittery and metallic. Low carbonation. Light body.

Bottle from the Basque Region, Northern Spain, July 2011 consumed at home November 2011 Pours hazy light amber, light filmy head. This is drinkable with some fruitiness but if truth be told there is an invasive sourness which showed on the nose and is rather destructive and off putting in the mouth, I really can’t be bothered with it and so tonight that is two sour drainpours. Bottle from the Basque Region, Northern Spain, July 2011 consumed at home November 2011 Pours warm gold, touch cloudy because I poured some sediment in, wheaty on nose and a tiny sourness, similar in mouth, some summer soft fruits, but light sourness again, its ok, but not that great. Bottle 33cl. Murky blond beer with off white head that in a few second. Where is the head??? Aroma to some citrus hints. Light body and the aftertaste is watery with a lot of carbonation.

330 ml bottle, as Santa Margarida Cerveza Artesanal de Trigo, from Carrefour, Cartagena. ABV is 4.2%. Golden colour, hazy in the end, huge white head. Wheaty aroma, notes of cloves, hints of citrus, banana and dust. The flavour is citrussy and somewhat acidic, minimal hops. Refreshing, but not very interesting.

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 Purchased this, in the Basque region of Span, July 2011 Not sure about this, it is lemony, acidic and not so good, the smart money is on this beer being slightly infected , that is the consensus around this table anyway. Not great I’m afraid and a lemony, vinegary drainpour. A3 A3 T2 P1 Ov5 1.4
