Bottle shared at Travlr’s 10k bash. Pours a hazy yellow with no head. Aroma of intense tart apples, leather, apple skins, earth. Taste is earth, apples, mild funk, olives, leather. Medium bodied. Quite interesting.

This is another tart, funky, fruity flavorful Basque concoction shared by nimbleprop, a huge thanks! Cloudy yellow, flat. Nose of overripe apples. Taste is bone dry rotted fruit, funky finish. Delicious.

750ml bottle pours a murky gold with a ring of white head. Nose is a bit meaty, earthy, apple cores, mild soil, touches of funk. Flavor follows, tart, mildly sweet, earthy too, mild smoke, bits of cured meat, mild funk. Finishes tart and clean.

Another great Basque smoked cider. Aroma of smoke and light sour funkiness - sweet and sour. Pours cloudy golden without much head or lacing. Thanks to Nimbleprop for sharing this at Gene’s 10k celebration.
