Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, vomit, wood, light to moderate yeasty, sweet meat, shoe polish notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, caramel malt, sweet plastic - meat notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110207]

Cask @ 2nd Larbert Beer Festival. Dark red - mahoney - brown colour, small tan head. Aroma of sour malts, glue, fruits. Flavour of toasted malts, glue, fruits, licorice. Nice one.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours an almost clear body, golden in color, and topped by a nice off-white head. Buttery, malty and bready nose with some fruits. Bready, slighlty buttery flavor with nice fruity hops low on bitterness. That goes for the finish as well. Medium body, dry. A quite drinkable beer, but too buttery aroma. 091024

Bottle, 3.9%. Weak buttery aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is slightly sweet with a bit of smoke. Caramelly finish along with more mild smoke.
