330ml bottle shared with Ash - Cheers! Pours clear pale gold, No head. Low carbonation. Aromas of honey and lemon. Taste is light bready malt, lingers a bit long. OK.

50cl bottle from the brewery. Appearance - opaque black with a decent creamy head. Nose - dark chocolate and a hint of coffee. Taste - coffee and dark chocolate. Tiramasu. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly elegant finish. Overall - a decent stout. The best from the range.

50cl bottle sample from brewer. Appearance - golden to amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - apples, resin a hint of biscuits. Taste - oranges and resin. Some biscuity-ness in the background. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly fresh finish. Overall - it started well and really it didn’t make me think of an American Pale style. It makes me think more of a Bitter or English pale ale.

33cl sample bottle from Neil. Appearance - golden with some head, Nose - malt with a touch of citrus. Some honey. Taste - lemon and honey malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a biscuity texture and a fairly clean finish. Overall - a decent example of a lager.

Cask gravity at Beer Rebellion. Very bizarre that this has turned up in palace! It pours jet black with a medium tan head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, cocoa, earth and hint of smoke. The taste is smooth, roasted malt, toast, coffee, light bitterness, tangy dark fruit and berry with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Well rounded and rather drinkable. Good stuff!

Bottle from Aldi. Clear golden body with a thin white head that slowly fades. Lively carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of grass and shortbread. Soft, clean, well balanced flavour. Slightly earthy, peppery finish. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Average carbonation. A lovely, moreish Lager.

Clear golden ale with a decent creamy head. Grapefruit aroma and a floral, pine edge to it too. Taste is grapefruit and hop with a very dry, bitter finish.

Has a good hop aroma, and a great brown copper body; decent head. Flavour is nice hops, not too complex but not simple either. It’s a fine English bitter.
