Description
Deeside Brewery is an independent craft beer producer based in Scotland’s crowning jewel – stunning Royal Deeside. We have been brewing since 2006 with a range of small batch hand crafted ales and lagers.

Deeside Brewery uses filtered spring water sourced from the River Dee, which starts 4000ft above seawater in the mountain ranges of the Cairngorms.

Our small team was enhanced in 2016 when we were joined by the founders of Loch Ness Brewery, Stephen Crossland and George Wotherspoon. This has brought us a new range of skills and experiences allowing us to develop our products further for the UK and Overseas markets with a focus on delivering consistently high beer quality as we continue to innovate and create new beers.

Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is grainy, straw, odd sweetness, honey and grass. The taste is soft, grainy, sweetish, dirty water and hay with a short, dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Very basic stuff. Watery and not at all pleasant...

500ml bottle shared with Ash - Cheers! Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is more coffee, not enough chocolate or lactic sweetness going on for me. Best of theirs tried today though.

500ml bottle shared with Ash - Cheers! Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas are biscuit and fruit. Taste has more citrus bitterness, but light, and a more caramel sweetness. OK, but not really APA.
