Mahogany with a beige head that fades to a good coat. Rich aroma of caramel and toasted nuts. Oily mouthfeel. Taste is a little less rich than suggested by the aroma: caramel, nuts, raisins and dates with some drying finishing bitterness. Sound but not very interesting to me.

330ml bottle from Tesco. Straw with a soapy looking white head; weak aroma of Saaz hops and cereal; spritzy in the mouth with a thin body and some grainy flavour and a cardboard finish. Drinkable.

Bottle. Clear golden with a fluffy medium white head. Thin aroma and taste. Sweet malt, grass and corn. Not particularly exciting but drinkable if thirsty.

Bottle. Bought in Kenya. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light alty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short finish. Watery palate. OK pale lager.

Smells of corn starch, alcohol, and some grains. Has an average yellow appearance. Tastes of sour grains with some hops on the back end. To be honest, it doesn’t seem very "special" to me!

At the BP station near the InterContinental Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia. A step above Windhoek Lager and definitely stronger. Still an average, unassuming, not too exciting lager.
