Bottled. An amber mead with a bit of off-white head. The aroma has notes of hiney, alcohol, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes honey, alcohol, and spices, leading to a dry finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Measured Final Gravity: 1023
Amber color, bright. It has somehow a medicinal aroma, some chemicals, not just the honey. Semi-sweet flavor, with some honey and some chemicals as well; there is a light prickling feeling on the tongue; also some alcohol perception.
Basic mead, weird.

Guess it was my turn this time to find some rare, odd stuff. I stumbled upon the Days of honey 2008 festival and found 2 meads and missed at least one. shared it with heavy. Poured a hazy honey orange colour. The nose was odd... honey of course, but definitely an odd note of olive oil. Some weak weak alcohol too. Light honeyish taste, not too sweet but nice, some weak alcohol again and again that olive oil that spoils it a little. Its definitely drinkable and nice in a way, not the worst mead I ve had, but it has its flaws. Its brilliant that someone is making mead here in Croatia so thumbs up to them and I hope that the following batches will be better.

0.75 l bottle Doggythedog bought in Zagreb, great thanks for bringing it down here and sharing! Poured dark amber, a little bit hazy body, even with a few notes of carbonation. Legs were tiny. Quite strange aroma, some honey with olive oil or something similar, along with some strange herbal notes. A bit sourish as well, probably because of yeast. Flavor is more pleasant, sourness is still present, but also honey sweetness, licorice and that herbal notes. Alcohol is felt, but just minimally. Not sweet, thinner bodied with short and strange herbal finish. It’s obvious this is all natural, maybe the fermentation gone wrong or it’s just meant to be such, but it’s strange mead, although not so bad.
