Aroma is almond, light fruity. Hazy colour. Taste is almond, nutty, banana. Really clean. Alcoholic, but easy drinking. Very nice one.

20 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with no lasting head. Aroma is light glue and chemical, honey and herbal. Sweet, spiced and slight herbal honey. Sweet and slight spiced. Smooth and fruity into a mild spiced finish.

Bottled. An amber mead. The aroma has notes of honey, spices, and lacohol. The flavor is sweet with notes honey, caramel, spices, leading to a dry finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle @ [ Tasting by fiulijn ]. [ Vintage 2007 ]. Clear medium yellow orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, Jägermeister - Gammel Dansk. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long to average duration, perfumed honey, sharp. Stange mead not to my liking sorry ! Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. Measured Final Gravity: 1051
Amber color, with quite some deposit. The aroma is very fruity for a mead, maybe they used višnja (Morello cherry), that gives also a soapy touch, light vanilla and male perfume; original. Sweet mead, without excess; there is a good honey and caramel flavor, with some acidity, light fruity trace (unfortunately here there is no višnja); the final presents a carbonation-like feeling on the tongue and vague perfumy talc.

This was the first mead I found and tried at the Days of honey 2008 festival. Shared it with heavy. Darker orange honeyish colour. Lovely nose of honey and Juicy Fruit bubblegum, light waxy notes. The taste is light again, honey naturally, bubblegum again, flowery, very light on alcohol, not that detectable. Now, I m not all that experienced when it comes to meads and this isn t as brilliant as the Apises, but I loved it from the moment I ve sampled it at the festival.

0.75 l bottle Doggythedog bought in Zagreb, great thanks for sharing it! 2007 bottling. It poured darker amber, a little bit hazy body with thinner legs, and few tiny carbonation bubbles. Not quite strong, but nice honey, floral and a bit lemony aroma. Flavor was even better, sweetish honey with floral medica (honey spirit) and notes of some berries, although I don’t believe juice was added. Not so full in body, but that could be expected for such ABV. Besides, alcohol is greatly hidden. Tasty, medium long honey finish, sweet. Really surprisingly good one. Nice to discover Croatia hides such gems!
