BIAB Sample from the 29th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival Brighton, courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers Graham! Pale golden colour, no head and pear aroma. Taste is slightly solventy, tart pear, drying, light fleshy pear, bittersweet. Slick mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, low carbonation, semi-dry finish. Quite drinkable

22/3/2019. From bag in a box at the 29th Sussex Beer & Cider Festival, Brighton. Pours clear very pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of unripened pears, some green apple and slight woody notes. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, moderate tartness. Light body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. Dry, slightly acidic and slightly salty finish. Quite nice.

Plastic barrel @ GBBF 2014. Pours a hazy yellow color with no head. Has a fruity spicy oaky apple aroma. Fruity spicy dry apple flavor. Has a fruity spicy dry oaky apple finish.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2014. 5.0% version. Hazy silver gold few white bubbles. Fart pear fruit aroma. Mostly fruit on aroma. Good slightly sour pear fruit in the mouth. Decent perry. Good sourness. Quite challenging and woke me up. Decent perry.

ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a fizzy, virtually no white head. Aroma is moderate apple and pear, wood, moderate to light heavy pear, light barnyard and leather. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20110805]

Cask@GBBF2011 (as Oakwood Farm Perry Medium Dry, abv 5 %). Yellow colour, small head. Aroma is pear, some mild applelike notes as well as mild wooden notes. Flavour is pear, some mild cinnamon, yeast and mildly acidic notes.

Unclear medium grey orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet pear, riped pear. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, pear fruit, dry dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20100430]

Bag in a box at Reading BF 2010. Odd hazy dirty gold brown colour. Pear aroma, some plastic. Very tasty perry, good real fleshy pear flavour, touch of brown sugar. Really is fleshy fruit. Ripe pear. Some acidity on finish. Touch too sweet but still very tasty.
