Description
The brewery was established in 2003 by dynamic husband and wife team, Jack and Pippa Lightbown. Using the knowledge gained from their contact with other independent brewers and enlisting the services of master brewer Dan Thomasson, Jack and Pippa began brewing their first beer, Fossil Fuel, on land adjacent to the pub. The brewery now produces five core beers which encompass a wide range of delicious styles and tastes as well as several seasonal ales, a cider and a wide range of real ale produce.

The brewery shares its plot with the Bankes Arms where you can sample the full range of our ales.
