On tap at the brewery, Pours black with a thin brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of dark grains and roasted malts with some dark fruits and a bit of red wine coming through. Flavor has a combination of dark fruits, dark grains, roasted malts and dark chocolate supported by wine barrel.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy light purple with an amber hue and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has sweet blueberry and straw with a bit of hay and Belgian yeast supporting. Flavor has earthy blueberry with straw and hay underlying.

ABR 2017. Hazy orange color and a tall head. Sweet malt and moderately hopped. The malt is more prominent. The appearance and palate remind me of a new English style ipa, but it does not have the full flavor those beers usually possess.

Aroma has a good amount of chipotle supported by sweet grains, bread and a touch of cherry. Flavor is chipotle forward with some sweet grains, bread, toffee and a bit of cherry underlying.
