Growler courtesy tpd975. Pours deep darkness with full mocha head and modest lacing. The aroma is wonderful brimming with coconut that tries to knock me out of my seat. I also get a bit of dark roastiness that seems to build to the end of the draw. The taste is full up Almond Joy coconut candy bar with modest amounts of dark roastiness rounding it out. Into the finish I get a mellow soft breakable malt sweetness underneath the coconut and mild dark roasted malts. Darn tasty stuff.

Dark orange color with a creamy beige head. Smells earthy and floral, lighty bready. The taste adds a light spicey element, perhaps rye? Finishes mildy dry and more of the florals come through.

Tap @ Brewpub: Dark copper color with a modest beige head. Aroma is lightly spiced, yete rich. Nutmeg and cinnamon; just what you expect from a fresh pie. The freshness and balanced spice presence continues into the taste, not over the top in any one area. Nice example of the style.

Pours a lightly hazy, dark orange color. Creamy sand colored head with thick lacing. Aroma is full of citrus hops and fruity sweetness. A rich hoppy taste is full of citrus with light floral notes. Smooth and syrupy. Mellow in the tail, but still full of flavor. Very nice.

Dark orange color with a modest sandy head. Hoppy aroma with citrus, florals, and caramel. Flavor is similar to that of the Fresh Hop, but not as bright and just not much going on to really get the palate going. More malty in the back end. Still a better-than-average brew.

Copper pour with a small beige head. Rich nose of citrus and floral hops. Fresh, wet citrus hops dominate the taste. Just lightly floral, a bit of resin, and some caramel. Flavor just comes though so intense, yet approachable. Damn, this is good stuff!

Rich copper color with a large, creamy beige head. Pungent aroma of citrus, grapefruit, florals, and pure hoppy goodness. Smooth and rich hoppy taste is again full of citrus and florals, some grapefruit and resin. Mild malt backer. Very nice.

I don’t know, if they call it a Baltic porter, and it looks like a BP, and tastes like a BP, I would classify it as a Baltic Porter. Black. Moderately roasted malt. Some dried fruit, leading to a combination of sweet grain and light fruit flavor, with the roast, that makes me think of central European lagers.
