Possibly the worst beer I have ever had from town hall. Sticky and sweet, the honey was a bad idea. I do not get any smoke, and it is undrinkable and should have been dumped.
I love rauchbier. This one had no smoke at all; it is only sticky and sweet and probably should have been dumped.Maybe the worst TH beerever

On tap at Town Hall, pours a deep golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out heaps of honey upfront, lightly accentuated by the red wine barrels. Flavour is boozy and honey-dominated, with plenty of honey sweetness, tempered by booze and the red wine barrels. Not particularly cohesive, and somewhat harsh. Okay.

On nitro tap at Town Hall, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light coffee notes upfront, with some dry cocoa powder that follows. Flavour brings out old coffee, with light cocoa powder. Dull and tired. This is not too invigorating.

On tap at Town Hall, pours a hazy dark copper amber with a small beige head. Aroma bright light toasted caramel and bready malt upfront. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted caramel, bready malt and a hint of hops. Clean and decently constructed, but not a deep beer.

On tap at Town Hall, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of raspberries upfront, with some Belgian yeast and a hint of estery notes. Flavour is similar in bringing out the raspberries upfront, but then the alcohol and estery sweetness kicks in and makes this less tasteful. Not very good.

On tap at Town Hall, pours a clear amber with a small tan head. Aroma brings out piney hops, earthy notes and a hint of butter. Flavour is unfortunately ruined by diacetyl, with piney hops, bready malt, and loads of diacetyl. Sweet caramel on the finish. Something seriously wrong with their hoppy beers today.
