Short stubby bottle with a twist off cap. Nearly as clear as water but it does have a very slight yellow hue to it. Mild apples in the aroma. Not too sweet nor tart on the taste buds. Easy going and it leaves a slightly dull aftertaste on the back of the palate. At times it seems to almost have a vinous character about it. Not bad, could easily drink a few of these. 6% is not that prevalent in this drink, hides it rather well.

Sampler at Cardinal Liquors, Frankfort. The pourer kept describing this as a "champagne" cider. And actually he’s not too far off the mark (though I doubt it was actually bottle a la champaignoise). A light straw cider color. Smell is a little bit like a white Andre. A sweet fizzy taste, not too sweet, balanced by just a little apple tart.

Extremely baby foodish aroma of pears and apples. Color is almost as clear and colorless as water, with a slight lime green tint. Clean cider taste, good alcohol masking.

Pour is a cloudy chalk color with a fizzy head. Aroma is nothing special as artificial apple is the only thing you detect. Flavor is much of the same. Very artificial and watery. This is closer to a zima than a good cider.

Thanks to Wunderbier for this one!! This is my first cider, so maybe I’m way off the mark here, but... This actually made a small white head that left a nice lace on the glass. The body just had the least bit of pale yellow color to it; Champagne-like. The aroma was clean, and fresh, not artificial, apple with a hint of honey. The palate was lively effervescent, sweet, with a wonderfully light tangyness. With 6% alcohol, this could be sneaky stuff. Very nice, I’ll try and check out some cider ratings and sample a few more of these. Re-rate After sampling some very fine ciders in Quebec, I have dropped this down from a previous score of 4.1.
