Golden-brown colour with a thick head. On the nose, it's vaguely malty and maybe a touch of acetaldehyde. Toasty with background diacetyl. Argh...not a good thing, as it really interferes with nicer malts.

Hazy light amber-tan. On the nose, a little cinnamon and nutmeg, and a fair bit of sweet malt. Soft body, lots of sweetness and the spices are actually fairly gentle. I appreciate that - some examples are too assertive for me, but a lighter example like this needs a deft touch.

Golden colour, but sadly no head. Has a somewhat doughy malt nose, with appley notes and maybe a touch of herbal hops. Moderate bitterness, still a bit appley on the palate though the malts are a bit cleaner. Ends up ok, but as far as I know this was on for a while before I tried it so maybe it was better fresher.

Golden-brown colour. Not much head. Buttery nose...so much diacetyl at this brewery lately. Lightly toasty malts and a lot of diacetyl. Pretty sure I'm not finishing this.

On tap at Yaletown, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and bready malt. Flavour is very mild, with bready malt, toasted crackery nuts and light nuttiness. Clean enough and decently balanced, but not exactly authentic and not interesting at all. Meh.

On tap at Yaletown, pours a cloudy bright golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is pretty subdued, with nutmeg and clove, not much actual pumpkin character. Flavour is murky and muffled, with light nutmeg and cinnamon, along with clove. Don't get any pumpkin. The spices are jumbled and not well-integrated. Not good.

On tap at Yaletown, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out English bready malt, subdued herbal hopping and some toasted nuttiness. Flavour is similar, with English bready malt, a stale character typical of many English ales, and light nuttiness. Not a good execution of the style at all. Poor.

On tap at Yaletown, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out crackery malt, some cereal and cardboard. Flavour is clean enough, with cereal malt sweetness, crackery notes and some bread. Clean enough, though a bit seltzery. Uninteresting.
