Amber color, hazy. Dry Amber Ale, with grainy and caramelly malt, and the mouthfeel not even smooth, hence not a Cream Ale for many reasons; a bit puckery; and toasty in the finish.
Boring.

Draught at the brewery, on nitro
Black color with thick beige nitro head. Mild aroma of roasted malt and coffee; smooth mouthfeel, gently dry; pleasant roasted malt flavor, with hint of coffee and burnt wood.
Balanced, and not negatively impacted by the nitro.

Draught at the brewery
Blond color, clean, a bit lifeless though. The hops in the aroma are fruity, a bit animal, and with a touch of crisp malt. Light malt body (appreciated), but the malt doesn’t express a lot of quality, while the hop is a bit herbaceous, besides being resiny, hence the final is less than exciting.
Nice, but getting boring after a few sips. For the record, more IPA than IIPA.

Draught at the brewery
Golden color, clean. Heavy bourbon notes over a moderately bodied and sweet pale ale; the result is liquid cheap-ish fudge and butterscotch. A bit more bitter in the final than expected.
Pleasant, warming winter beer, very simplistic though.
I imagine a small family gathering of lager drinkers in their Christmas sweaters drinking a glass of this once a year and being amazed.

"Dark Session" cask. Touch of haze, bubbly head. Sticky, has some mellow red malts, earthy hops. Not bad but going nowhere, and it’s flat. My brother liked it, though, so there’s that.

Touch of haze. Light amber. Caramel, toasty. Bland. A throwback to "BC Cream Ale", which isn’t really worth doing, IMO, and certainly not so thin and lifeless.

Golden with medium head. Has some orangey, herbal hop. This has a balanced bitterness. I actually liked this better as a sample; I got a glass and it seemed kind of dull by the end.

Medium brown. Roasty, has a sweet malty taste, quite Irish. Mellow, low bitterness.
