Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, a bit moldy-grasy, modest yeasty. Mild-dry background. Finish well balanced, still a bit moldy, but okay. Not bad!

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Slightly draffy cara-malty aroma with mildly herbal hoppy spice. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Solid cara-malty base with a touch of biscuits and a herbal hoppy backbone; sweet and mildly hop bitter and herbal spicy finish. Likeable Märzen. 30.VI.13

(swing top bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Doughy and slightly yeasty pale malty aroma with a whiff of grains and herbal hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dry malt character with yeasty and delicately grainy accents, backed by present herbal hops, lingering into the bitter and slightly sweet finish. Fresh and nice Zwickel. 30.VI.13

(swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly grainy pale malty aroma with a tinge of honey and a herbal hoppy background. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft, if not a bit flat carbonation. Mildly grainy pale malty palate with present herbal hops; quite dry and bitter hoppy finish with herbal and slightly grassy accents, also slightly metallic at the very end. Nothing special. 30.VI.13

Yellowy colour, white, foamy head. Nice aroma of bananas and malt. Lightweight, only slightly fruity taste with some hoppy bitterness in finish. Test of 01.11.2008
