Cask at Swan, Stone. Pours dark ruby (as you might guess from the name !) with a small tan head. There’s a fruity aroma with plums and cherries plus some malts. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, but very smooth with a creamy texture.. Roasted malts and dark fruits (plums and raisins) in the flavour leading to a fruity and slightly dry finish. This is rather nice.

Cask at Swan, Stone. Pours golden yellow with minimal foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s malts and leon rind in the aroma. In the mouth there is a brief burst of sweetness before it becomes sharp and juicy. Plenty of citrus and some grains in the flavour with some floral hops coming through later on. Finish is quite btter. Not at all bad but a bit thin and lacking in body.
