Bottle @ Hopstore. Clear, deep amber/brown body under a small, lacing light beige head. Aroma has toffee and some ripe fruits. Taste is sweet malt, toffee, brown sugar, yeast and ripe fruit. Moderate bitterness. Balanced body with a bit short aftertaste. Decent and food friendly.

Bottle picked up from Hoptimaal webshop Amersfoort Netherlands and consumed at Campsite in Lam, Bayerisch Wald with Jude Thursday 5th September 2024 . Pours black with a fast disappearing head, Bitter and roasty flavour, however aroma is almost a little clinical, not bad, chocolate comes through, it's not too sweet and it's tasty but could be better. Wouldn't have guessed Cognac barrel aged.

Can. Black w a tan head that fades to a cm. Aroma of mocha, brioche, nectarine, ruby grapefruit. Smooth, a little more than medium bodied. Quite roasty with coffee, stone and citrus fruit, highish bitterness. Dangerously swiggable.

Gold with a fleeting head. Lime aroma with a touch of vanilla. Taste is tart up front and mildly acidic. Stays tart but trends sweeter at the finish. Lingering vanilla, oak and gooseberry. Body to the light side of medium, refreshing. Good!
