Description
Our brewery opened in July 2013. The brewery moved at the beginning of 2018 to the Rue des Lignes in Angoulême, a stone's throw from the railway lines. We are of course continuing to brew our beers and develop our range, but above all a real winery has been created, as well as a Taproom dedicated to the on-site consumption of our beers and a space dedicated to take-out. Equipped with a 50 HL brewhouse and new fermenters, we can more easily offer contract brewing, as well as wort production for spirits.

Pours a dark amber, but very cloudy. Really good head retention. The oak comes through very strongly, but is spicy, like cinammon, quite strongly. A little bit astringent. Good Xmas beer. 2016 Advent Calendar.

bottle from Illkirch-Graffenstaden! Hazy golden with a tall white head - doesn’t look like the classic witbier. Aromatic hoppy nose. Light-bodied, shy but good malty background delivering good hoppy flavours, resiny and with tropcial fruit, a shy yeasty hint is also detectable. Pleasant carbonation, smooth and velvety. A good one!

On tap at La Fine Mousse on 26th November 2016. Almost black with pale tan foam. Toasted melt aroma with coffee. Lush, intense roast malts and bitter hops in-mouth. Long lasting full-on roasty malt finish. A tremendous amount of flavour packed in a beer of such low gravity. Medium bodied with an engaging texture.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark brown black, creamy tanned head. Nose is strangely herbal, licorice, milk chocolate, sugar, far too herbal & licorice like for me, milk chocolate feels watery. Thin watery herbal, herbal, bitter licorice, bark, odd, milky chocolate milk, sugar, chestnut. Too thin, watery for its own good, I suppose that at 3 % ABV this can be forgiven a bit, herbal qualities don’t mix with the watery milk chocolate. Not optimal but doable.

330ml bottle from 2016 craft beer advent calendar. Pours a murky red-brown with plenty of sediment floating around and a huge, fluffy, long lasting, beige head that leaves plenty of lace. Sweet aroma of dark fruit, caramel malt, cognac, bread, spice and oak. Sweet flavour of dark fruit, brown sugar, caramel malt, spice, vanilla and oak with warming cognac in the finish. Full body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Tasty.

33cl bottle. BBE 08/17. Poured pretty much black in color with a thick espresso head. Orange and grapfruit in aroma, really fresh. Lovely.¨ Pretty much continues in the flavor, but also lots of coffee and strong roasted malty notes. Strong flavors in this beer. Quite balanced, really good Cascadian Dark Ale. More please! Nice bitterness.

At a tasting, thanks, stable long lasting creamy head, opaque black color, aroma of charred wood, caramel, hint of soy and some coffee in the back, ashy, charcoal flavor, medium noticable sweetness, lingering aftertaste, mellow bitterness. Very good and relativly easy imperial stout.
