Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is roasted malt with lots of wood, cognac, red fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, dried fruits, touch of liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet with a roasty bitterness. Body is above medium. Very good with a strong character from the barrel, lots of wood and cognac notes, roasted malt and chocolate. Body could be a bit more full.

Аромат сразу бросает в тебя весьма сложный и неоднозначный камень. Сильно чувствуется разные добавки и приправы, немного фруктовый с ноткой кофейной ноткой. Цвет красивый, богатый, темно-коричневый с постоянной тонкой кремовой пенкой. Вкус плавный по началу, кофе уже чуть больше, хорошая горечь, снова много пряностей и добавок. Само пиво весьма плотное. Послевкусие идет с сильной горчинкой и легкой кофейной кислинкой.

Can from Hopt. For a Chocolate Porter this certainly seems coffee-centric. For real, tons of beany coffee in the aroma with roast, some mocha, coffee grounds, a little chocolate, cold coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a medium roasty bitterness. Body is medium. Nice blast of coffee, lacks some depth.
