Bottle [from trade with dzudohonor] shared with SinH4 @ hotelroom prior to Borefts Beer Festival. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, roasted malts. Taste malts, roasted malts, dark malts, bourbon, some liquorice, dry coffee powdery, malt and roasted malt bitter with a touch of alcohol. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Decent.

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is bourbon, caramel, chocolate, liquorice. Taste is roasted malts, earthy, leathery, black chocolate. Medium carbonation. Nice, but a bit too much on the liquorice side to be a real winner for me.

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a brown foam that disappears quickly. Slight roasted aroma with chocolate and leather. Big chocolate taste with a touch of leather, light roast, oak and a slight kick of booze. Short, chocolaty finish. Nice!
