On tap. Pours clear dark brown with only a dusting of a beige head. Aroma of coffee, malty, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, earth, coffee. Dry and earthy.

Stark herber Beginn mit milder Hopfigkeit. Geringe Süße, schnell ziemlich bitter werdend. Spritzig, der Hopfen steigt an, bleibt aber hinter der Bitterkeit verborgen. Endlich mal ein bitteres Pils, lecker! 10/10/8/10//10

On tap the at the brewpub in Karlsruhe . 22/07/2015 Three days after the Etape du Tour. Reddy amber coloured pour with a lasting frothy light cream coloured pour. Aroma is sweet malt, jammy fruits, some stale grains, toast and light caramel. Flavour is composed of nutty raisin, toast, honey, sweet, some cara-munich malts. Palate is semi-sweet, medium body, highish carbonation, slightly creamy.

On tap the at the brewpub in Karlsruhe . 22/07/2015 Three days after the Etape du Tour. Translucent yellow / golden coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is composed of earthy cereal, robust, light wort, earthy yeast. Flavour is composed of semi crisp cereal grains, pils, firm medicinal hop bitterness, light yeast bite. Palate is grainy, semi sweet, crisp , highish carbonation, Good stuff.
