Tap at brewpub in Karlsruhe. Only one I rated here but saison was probably best. Dunkel was somewhat murky brown but easy drinking. No aroma or noticeable taste.

Pours an amber color. The aroma is medium malty and lightly hoppy. Taste is grain with a decent bitterness.

Pours a hazy golden color. Grassy hops aroma, with hints of flowers and vegetables. Taste is straw and bitter herbs. Bitter aftertaste.

Pours a hazy dark golden color with a small white head. Aroma brings out light banana, with clove, and light wheat. Flavour is along the same lines, with light banana upfront.

On tap. Pours a hazy orange/amber colour with off-white head. The aroma has notes of banana, cloves and wheat.

On tap. Pours clear dark brown with only a dusting of a beige head. Aroma of coffee, malty, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, earth, coffee. Dry and earthy.

Stark herber Beginn mit milder Hopfigkeit. Geringe Süße, schnell ziemlich bitter werdend. Spritzig, der Hopfen steigt an, bleibt aber hinter der Bitterkeit verborgen. Endlich mal ein bitteres Pils, lecker! 10/10/8/10//10
