Description
In the early 1900's St. Petersburg was known as "the Green Bench City". At their height some 2,500 benches lined the downtown sidewalks inviting passers-by to slow their pace and make friends of strangers. In the same way Green Bench beer will serve as a catalyst for community and cheer. People will gather around a pint (or two) to share in both good times and bad, to discuss business or tell a joke, to reminisce about life or dream about the future, to get up and dance to the music or to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the brew.

On tap as part of a flight at the brewpub, on January 22, 2014.Hazy yellow color, white head. Acidic, hoppy taste. Hoppy aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness. Soapy, hoppy scent.

@Brewers Tasting Room-on tap-white-yellow. A-lemon zest, some lt malt. T-tart/sour lemon, some lt malt. Interesting, or just the last batch of IPA relabeled, no aspirin which is a plus. 3.5

Sampled draught as a 4 oz pour at the 7venth Sun brewpub on January 19, 2014.Hazy golden color, very small white head. Citrus, fruit, alcohol, spicy scent. Spicy, alcohol, light bitter, citrus zest taste. Bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

on tap-white-cloudy yellow/gold. A-grapefruit. T-canned grapefruit juice, some lt malt. Aspirin, way past pine, like hop pellets. Will try again after they get dialed in. 2.2 on 11/3/13. Rerate from a can shared by Dan. 12/8/16 3.5
