Description
The Brasserie de la Loire was born in December 2003 from the imagination of Anne-Laure Pelloux Prayer Molle after having fallen in love with the brewing world and the Loire department. Trained as a biochemist, she experimented with different recipes and was able to find the support of confirmed brewers.From her beginnings, Anne Laure chose to create unfiltered, unpasteurized craft beers.
At that time, she was one of the few women brewers in France. Its beers reflect this characteristic: sweet and full of character ... like a woman!

In 2010 La Brasserie moved and moved to new premises located a few hundred meters from the old site. The purpose of this move is to offer us more comfort in production and in welcoming customers to the store.

The Brewery continues its development by expanding its range of beers. Finally, they are all certified organic.

In a spirit of sharing with local producers or artisans, partnerships have emerged:
- Honey is provided by the Miellerie des Gorges de la Loire;
- Part of the cereals come from a farm in Boisset les Montronds and the other from a farm in Corbas. They are then malted in the Center region;
- The cocoa beans are roasted by Couleur Café in St Romain le Puy.

Hazy amber colour with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, some bready and biscuity malts with mild honey and some mild toffee. Flavour is quite similar, leaving a quite oily palate after itself. Mild nutty and toasted notes in the aftertaste too.

Very lively carbonated golden beer, end of bottle fully hazed with yeast, under good, finely bubbled white head. Cidery nose, lemony and (sour) apples, honey-covered apples. Slightly oxydized, rather medicinal taste, mint, cornflakes. Falls a bit dead. Quite carbonated. Aftertaste has a point of corn sweetness, faintly slick, not much body. Bit lame. Txs to Stef!
