750ml (thx, Alex!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: hazy copper. Aroma: pretty complex, nice brown sugar, intense, honey. Taste: along the same lines, a lot of complexity, woody notes, dark fruits, brown sugars. Overall: very nice, multidimensional one.

750mL bottle. 14yo. Pours murky ruddy brown. Aroma has honey, brown sugar, and something slightly bitter (maybe oxidization). Flavour has similar flavours: honey, dark sugar, oxidization. Really well balanced and nice.

750mL bottle, pours a clear dark amber with almost no head. Aroma brings out medium-high honeycomb, sugars, and gentle sherry-like oxidation. Flavour is quite sweet, with lots of honeycomb, very light oxidation, some sugars, and light booze. Very sweet, but not cloying. Nice stuff.

Dark amber. Abundant honey on the nose, a touch of cardboard. On the palate, it's sticky and sweet, with a decent barrel character. The sweetness doesn't bring much complexity, light florals maybe.

750mL bottle. 15yo. Pours golden. Aroma is floral and dry honey notes. Flavour has some dry honey, some oxidization, and some harshness from the alcohol. Not super elegent, but it works well. Cool to try.

750mL bottle, pours a clear dirty copper with some sediment. Aroma is full of lightly floral honeycomb and some light, pleasant oxidation. Flavour is rather harsh, with plenty of honeycomb, harsh alcohol, and gentle oxidation. Not the most refined, but it's pleasant enough.

Dark amber, this has a nice sticky honey note, very rich on the nose. On the palate, it's clean with a big honey note. A touch of woody complexity, followed by a fair bit of alcohol and a pleasing sticky honey finish. Good stuff.
